Please ensure you follow the venue rules to ensure the safety and well being of all patrons attending concerts and shows. Please follow official venue rules for the best possible experience and safety of all patrons. The official venue site is here.


MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the FL State Fairgrounds wants every guest to have a fantastic time during their visit to the venue. To help everyone feel comfortable and safe, they’ve created a set of guidelines and policies to help everyone have a great time. Please read and review these guidelines. Any guest found in violation may be expelled without refund or banned. If you have any questions, you may call the venue at (813) 740-2446.

Accessible Policy

Guests that require assisted listening devices can contact their venue office prior to the event to arrange for a device. Please give the venue at least 2 days notice. Guests that require interpreter service can call the venue and arrange this for any event. They need at least 2 weeks notice to secure an interpreter. Alcohol Policy

MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase during your time at the venue. You are not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages into the venue. A valid and current Driver License or State ID card is required to purchase alcohol- guests will be required to show ID every time they purchase.

Bag Policy

To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, the venue has created the following clear bag policy. No bag will be allowed in the venue unless it meets these requirements.

  • For Plastic, Vinyl, or PVC bags (clear) they must be no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”.
  • For small clutch bags (doesn’t need to be clear), they can be no larger than 6” x 9”.

All bags are subject to search upon entry. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry. If you have any items that are not allowed into the venue please return them to your vehicle.

Camera Policy

SUBJECT TO CHANGE- The standard venue policy allows camera phones, disposable cameras, and small digital cameras. Any camera that has a detachable lens will be considered professional and not allowed in. If the camera lens zooms out of the camera more than 1 in- it will be considered a professional camera and will not be allowed in. Some artists do not permit cameras so please check back for the show you will be attending to ensure that they will be allowing cameras in.

Cashless Policy

For a contactless experience, this venue has gone cashless. They will accept credit, debit, or mobile pay with Apple pay or Google pay. You can convert your cash dollar for dollar with no charges to a prepaid debit card at the venue’s cash-to-card kio0sk.

Child Policy

All of the venue’s events are all ages. Children 2 and under do not require a ticket, but must sit on a parent’s lap.

Contactless Tickets

All tickets will be sent to your phone for scanning. Physical tickets will not be sent. Please make sure your phones are fully charged before you arrive to avoid delays.

Lawn Chair Policy

To reduce contact with guest belongings and for security reasons, no outside Lawn Chairs will be allowed into the building starting in 2023. Lawn Chairs are available for rental for guests on the Lawn.

Lost and Found Policy

Lost items are turned in to Guest Services during and at the end of the show. The Guest Services booth is located next to the Orchestra entrance (ramp) on the west side of the venue. Before leaving the venue, check with Guest Services to see if they have your item. If you want to inquire about a lost item after the event day, please call (813) 740-2446 for assistance.

Overnight Parking Policy

There is no overnight parking permitted at the venue. Any unauthorized vehicles on site prior to an event or after an event will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Permitted Items

The following items are allowed inside of the venue.

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (4.5”x 6.5”).
  • Blankets
  • Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
  • Umbrellas- small/parasol

Prohibited Items

The following items may not be brought to the venue under any circumstance. Please leave these items at home. Any confiscated item may be discarded.

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Alcohol
  • Bags that don’t adhere to the venue bag policy as outlined above.
  • Illegal drugs/substances
  • Umbrellas
  • Glass containers
  • Cans
  • High profile camping/bag chairs
  • Hard sided/large coolers
  • Laser pointers
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Fireworks
  • Coolers
  • Food

Smoking Policy

Smoking is permitted only in the LAWN and PLAZA areas. Pavilion seat smoking is not permitted.
