No other artist does it quite like KID ROCK! Across his career, he's transitioned across different genres, uniquely developing his sound through the years. From going hard with hip-hop and rap-rock sounds to embracing Southern rock energues, he sure has it all. On his 2022 album "Bad Reputation", the man shifted back to more of his rap-rock side. 

Let's take a ride back to 1999. Those good 'ol days marked the release of his song "Cowboy"—a track that made him a pioneer in the country-rap genre. Fusing elements of hip-hop to a rockin' country groove, Kid Rock became a critics' and listeners' favorite among a sea of rising artists. 

It all traces back to the 80s when he was discovred by D-Nice and later worked with Mike E. Clark—one who was so impressed withhis energy and the way he crafted his own beats. Making demos to send over to labels, he soon got offers from six major lables wanting to sign him. At the age of 17, he signed with Jive Records, wherein he dropped his debut LP "Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast". The album marked him as one of thebigest rap stars in Detroit, becoming a rising name nationally, embarking on tours with Ice Cube, Yo-Yo, D-Nice, and Too Short. 

Later on, he launched his first mainstream album "Devil Without a Cause" via Atlantic Records, while he also founded his own Top Dog Label. Certified Diamond by the RIAA, the man was truly unstoppable as he sold over 11 million copies of the record in the U.S. Serving up four Hot 100 hits - "Bawitdaba", "Cowboy", "Only God Knows Why", and "American Bad Ass", it was one of the best eras of his career. 

Over the years, his biggest hits include " All Summer Long", "Picture" ft. Sheryl Crow, "Cocky", "We The People", "First Kiss", and more.
