MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre At The Florida State Fairgrounds
The annual summer tradition is here! Goo Goo Dolls are back, as they have been almost every year since the late 1990s! The Goo Goo Dolls Summer 2026 Tour with special guests Neon Trees comes to MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Monday, 24th August 2026.
With Neon Trees playing an opening slot, probably around 45-50 minutes, and The Goo Goo Dolls playing a full headlining set, you're going to be "Moving In The Dark," like "Animal,"s just make sure you don't end up "Sleeping With A Friend," because, well, "Everybody Talks."
And then if that wasn't fun enough, there's still Goo Goo Dolls to get you "Naked" to "Feel the Silence" inside a "Black Balloon," yeah, nothing weird about that! No worries, "Nothing Lasts Forever," but this is "Not Goodbye (Close My Eyes)," It's just the end of summer!
Tickets are on sale right now from Ticket Squeeze, just hit the 'Buy Tickets' button to head over there now.
The Goo Goo Dolls and Neon Trees are back on the road again, having already toured together a few years ago for "The Big Night Out Tour." This fun pairing makes an interesting blend, bridging the gap between the Alt-rock of Goo Goo Dolls and the 2010s indie-pop/new wave of Neon Trees.
The North American run will take to arenas and amphitheaters in major cities across the U.S. and Canada from July through September. And while the show will be very "hit-heavy," it is also reasonably common for the bands to introduce or even test out new songs.
Coming out of Buffalo, New York, the Goo Goo Dolls are undoubtedly one of the most successful American rock bands of the last few decades with the record for the most number-one singles on the Billboard Top 40 chart. They have produced awesome hits like "Iris," "Slide," "Name," "Black Balloon," and "Here Is Gone."
Originally called The Sex Maggots, they had to change their name due to being unable to get any club bookings, and their current name comes from an advert for a toy called the Goo Goo Doll in a True Detective magazine.
The song "Iris" was written specifically for the film "City of Angels," starring Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan, and spent 18 consecutive weeks at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, an unprecedented achievement at the time.
Coming out of Provo, Utah, the upbeat synth-pop band Neon Trees have produced the hits "Everybody Talks," "Animal," "Sleeping With a Friend," "1983," and "Sins of My Youth." The name Neon Trees comes from the neon-lit trees used as decorations outside In-N-Out Burger chain.
The track "Everybody Talks" has been certified 5x Platinum. And they have a non-traditional holiday EP called An Apple at Christmas
