Two of the world's hottest rock bands from the late '70s and '80s are heading back to the stage. Foreigner and Styx are teaming up for the last time, a co-headlining tour capping off decades of hits and changing the rock game. Contributing to some of the industry's best hits, their legacy continues to live on. A decade since they last teamed up on stage, they're kicking off the "Renegades & Juke Box Heroes" Tour this coming summer. Making history, it's gonna be the last time audiences will get to witness Foreigner and Styx sharing the stage.
Currently on their Historical Farewell Tour, Foreigner is giving its all at their last hurrah of live tours. Kicking off a joint show with Styx at the Renegades & Juke Box Heroes trek, it's the last time we'll see the two bands side-by-side. Produced by Live Nation, every show is bound to serve wild rockin' nights of both bands' greatest hits and all-time crowd favorites. They're also inviting a very special guest - British singer behind the global hits "Missing You" and "When I See You Smile" - John Waite.
"We’re very excited to be sharing the concert stage with Foreigner and John Waite in the summer of 2024," Styx guitarist James Young shared. "We have previously toured with Foreigner and the result was both bands kicked ass and had a great time doing it."
Talking about their Historical Farewell shows, Foreigner promises to serve the same rockin' energy as it were their first show. Keeping their legendary hits live on stage, these shows with Styx are going down history. "We will be presenting a show that I know will have the same enthusiasm as our very first appearances," Jones shared in a statement about their farewell trek, via Live Nation. "While I’m sure our fans will have mixed feelings about the end of the road for the band, I know our shows are going to delight audiences everywhere."
We're sure the same goes for this co-headlining summer bash. "As we continue on with our farewell tour, I have been very moved by the support and reaction of all of our fans," Jones of Foreigner shared in another statement. "To perform these next shows with our friends Styx and John Waite makes it even better."
Everyone's in to hear some of rock's greatest masterpieces including Foreigner's "Urgent", "Cold As Ice", "Waiting For A Girl Like You", and "I Want To Know What Love Is". Styx is also serving up its own roster of greatest hits such as "Come Sail Away", "Mr. Roboto", "Babe", and many more.
They surely are the jukebox heroes of the good ol' days. It's a blast from the past, and it's all happening with Foreigner and Styx. Don't miss out by booking your tickets now!
