Alanis Morissette’s mezzo-soprano voice will be heard live at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Wednesday, 19th June 2024. On this date, she will be accompanied by special guests Morgan Wade and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts as they set out to promote their “Triple Moon” Tour across North America.

The trek officially kicks off in Arizona, in June and will make stops across Texas, Ontario, New York, and more before concluding at the world-famous Kia Forum. "I am inspired and heartened and feel giddy inside to be going on this upcoming summer tour with Joan and Morgan and all our teams. Can't wait to see you, and can't wait to perform!" she shared in a recent statement.

Alanis Morissette is a Canadian-American singer, actress, and record producer known for delivering iconic 90s tracks like “Ironic,” and “All I Really Want.” Her 1995 debut album, Jagged Little Pill, was followed by nine more albums, while its musical adaptation of the same title received fifteen Tony Award nominations and won in two categories.

“She seemed to lose herself in her performance, whether she was focusing on reaching the soaring highs on songs like the triumphant Reasons I Drink and the impassioned Forgiven, or spinning and wailing cathartically during powerful versions of Smiling and You Oughta Know,” Ottawa Citizen News shares.

In addition, rock icons Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will be present on this night to perform alongside the award-winning female artist. Forming her band in the late 70s, Joan achieved eight gold and platinum records with nine Top 40 singles, such as "I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll," "Bad Reputation," and "Crimson and Clover." Meanwhile, Nashville's rising artist, Morgan Wade, will be the second supporting act for the night. Her debut album, Reckless, sparked international acclaim when it topped Rolling Stone's "Best Country and Americana Albums of 2021.”

The MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre is perhaps the most appropriate choice to host this throwback event as it is considered the best outdoor music venue in Tampa. Incorporating a generous open-air setup and an expansive stage, these female artists are poised to deliver their best performances.
