On Wednesday, the 19th of August 2026 Jack Johnson takes center stage at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre. He is bringing his unmistakable sound and artistry to Florida as part of his SURFILMUSIC Tour 2026. This highly anticipated show will involve a blend of live storytelling through music in one awesome experience. In addition, proceeds from every ticket will support a few environmental projects as part of Jack’s environmental consciousness.

Jack Johnsosn is best known for delivering thoughtful lyrics through his laid-back acoustic style and surf-inspired roots. His music is filled with so much warmth and groove. This makes his songs like “Upside Down,” which has seen significant international chart success and got extensive radio airplay, feel intimate even in large outdoor venues. Jack has spent decades building a loyal global following. Jack Johnson released quite a number of platinum- and gold-certified albums, including Brushfire Fairytales (2001) In Between Dreams (2005), and Sleep Through the Static (2008). Not surprisingly, aside from Grammy Award nominations, many of his albums have even debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. 

This 2026 tour is in support of Jack Johnson’s new documentary film, SURFILMUSIC and its accompanying soundtrack, which Jack scored in collaboration with acclaimed instrumental duo Hermanos Gutiérrez. Get ready to sing your favorite songs and enjoy fresh material inspired by nature and connection.

Special Guest: Lake Street Dive

As a special treat, joining Johnson is Lake Street Dive. This is a thriving band with a creative blend of soul, pop, jazz, and vintage R&B. The MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fairgrounds gives off an under the stars concert atmosphere with excellent acoustics and relaxed sightlines. It also has a VIP space with BBQ, lawn games, and social areas to enhance your experience and perfectly complement the tour’s chill, community-focused vibe. 

Since this will be a summer event, be sure to plan for warm weather. Also, there are some venue guidelines that you should bear in mind, like no outside lawn chairs will be allowed; however, you can rent. For bags, you are allowed to carry clear plastic, vinyl, PVC bags and small clutch bags. In addition, the parking lots are open two hours prior to the scheduled gate time and there are options for Premier Parking or VIP Parking.
