Lamb Of God, Killswitch Engage, Baroness & Suicide Silence at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre

Lamb of God is a Grammy-nominated heavy metal band that significantly influenced the sound of the new wave of American heavy metal. The band emerged in 1994 as Burn The Priest but later changed the band name to Lamb of God upon signing with the record label Prosthetic Records. The band has released ten studio albums, the most notable being their fifth studio album, Wrath. The 2009 record peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top Hard Rock Albums, Top Rock Albums, and Top Tastemakers Albums charts. This October, the band is set to release their 11th studio album, Omens, via Epic Records.

Fellow new wave of American heavy metal icons, Killswitch Engage, has also earned a few Grammy nods for their hits. Their singles, “The End of Heartache,” “In Due Time,” and “Unleashed” each received a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance. Meanwhile, their 2004 album, End of Heartache, won Best Album at the Metal Hammer Golden God Awards. A few years later, the same organization awarded the band with the Best International Band and Best Live Band. Killswitch Engage has released eight studio albums. Their most successful record is their seventh effort, Incarnate, which soared to number 6 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart.
