Hailing from South Africa, raised in America, self taught troubadour Dave Matthews found notoriety playing small venues, frat houses and other college venues with his band for thirteen years before achieving countrywide success and a devoted following. Helped by their extensive touring, the Dave Matthews Band's debut album "Under The Table And Dreaming" reached 11 on the Billboard 200.

Subsequently, the band's second album "Crash" debuted at No.2. A live performance at New York Madison Square Garden followed, selling out in under 3 hours, and Stand Up, their 2005 album, found itself at the top of the Billboard charts in its first week. The band continue to consistently sell out venues across America, thrilling crowds everywhere they go.
